After YEARS of collecting Dana Girls books one at a time (and not many at that!), this last Friday, I stumbled onto a TREASURE TROVE of 9, each in lovely condition.
We made a quick two-day trip to TN at the end of this last week. On our way back, we stopped at one of our favorite Antique stores--we have patronized them since we moved here waaaaay back in 2003. It is a large 2-story ware-house-like building, and we have found some treasures over the years there. Friday afternoon, I was strolling through the upstairs booths, and there on a table were stacks of Dana Girls and Nancy Drew mysteries. These have the matte covers AND these are from the original series. (I need to do a post on the two series). I bought all of the Dana Girls (they were reasonably priced). This week, I hope to work on their place in my ND shelf. This find was really a blessing!
